DanceFest 2014

Sunday, January 26, 2014 at 6pm

DanceFest is an annual Dance Festival designed for intermediate and advanced dance students aged 10-18 years who train at area dance schools in Westchester and Fairfield counties. Students participate in a master classes taught by outstanding professionals in the dance world in seven different disciplines from Hip-Hop/Jazz/Funk to Ballet. School directors, teachers and parents are invited to observe the classes. The festival culminates with the Student Festival Performance of original choreography performed on the HARMAN Stage of the Palace Theatre. Adults: $37 (includes fees) | Students 12 yrs. & under: $17.00 (includes fees)

Everyone, regardless of age, must have a ticket to enter the theatre.

Emerging Young Artist Scholarship

Pictured Above (Left to Right): Danny Pravder, Anna Leunis, EJ CouloucoundisThe annual Emerging Young Artist Scholarship Award of $2,000 created by Stamford Center for the Arts will be awarded to a high school student residing in Fairfield County who is pursuing his/her career in the performing arts. This year the award will be given for Original Composition.

The deadline for all materials to be received is February 24, 2014. The finalists will be contacted in late February for a live audition scheduled for March 8, 2014.
