Stamford Gives Back and The Stamford Center for the Arts Partner
to bring exciting multi-cultural programs to the community.
We are very pleased to work with Stamford Gives Back (SGB) to host the the renowned African Children's Choir this May. "This collaboration will create a wonderfully unique experience for our audience, an exciting opportunity to experience another culture thru the eyes of these youthful performers!” says Carol Bryan, SCA Director of Education.
Maureen Pavia - Director, Stamford Gives Back
“I believe that having the opportunity to bring the African Children's Choir to our commmunity thru this collaboration offers a very unique and special opportunity that both SCA and SGB are anticipating with great excitement. This project is of great importance to me personally because I enjoy and am committed to providing opportunities to enable and encourage children to learn, experience and participate in the Performing Arts in Stamford and the rest of Fairfield County,” says Maureen Pavia, Director of Stamford Gives Back.
About Stamford Gives Back - (SGB) The performing arts define a community in many ways. Supporting and encouraging the performing arts is the focus of Stamford Gives Back Association, a non-profit organization created by Maureen Pavia. The youth of Stamford have opportunities to expand their artistic ambitions but oftentimes do not have the means to accomplish this ambition. Stamford Gives Back, through fund raising and community support, distributes grants to local theatre, dance companies and artists who have made an impact, and who continue to demonstrate by example that we have a responsibility to inspire future artists.
